oz Nannochloropsis Algae Paste for feeding corals-artemia-daphnia (2) Bottles
This is a concentrated liquid consisting of Billions of cells of nannochloropsis algae. The cells are about 2 microns in size and there will be at least 20 billion of them per milliliter. 4 ounces is about 30 milliliters. It has been frozen before we get it and we ship it starting out frozen. It is glycerine free. It will remain usable as long as it is refrigerated or refrozen when you receive it.
It is a natural food for reef tanks, corals, rotifers and for growing small crustaceans such as daphnia and brine shrimp. Feed directly or dilute. Note that this is not a live culture.
Store in the freezer or refrigerator. Shelf in fridge -- 2 months -- in freezer -- 6 months. This is not intended for human consumption. The analysis of algae (dry weight) :  protein 52%, carbohydrate 16%, lipid 27%.
Shipping Info
We ship it (initially frozen) in an insulated box using Fedex or USPS depending on your location.  I ship Monday through Friday to help my customers who need the algae.
