We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska,Guamor
Puerto Rico,
friend the worm when you receive it you only put a small ball of food
and as the worm multiplies another ball of food is added
If you throw a lot of food to the worms,
the food that they don't eat is damaged and that kills the oxygen of the earth and they die the worms
I only recommend feeding them as they multiply
if you buy before 12:30 pm I ship your order the same day from monday to friday
This listing is for a live
starter culture
Grindal worm fish live food.
When you receive your grindal order, sometimes they cannot be seen because of the cold temperature and transport, they hide in the straw of the coconut, just put a ball of food or two, soak the food for at least 10 minutes and then add it and two to three days go up to eat and have a little patience with the grindal worm
Grindal worms are a tiny relative of the common earthworm.
Much larger than microworms but only
a fourth the size of the harder to keep Whiteworms.
Grindals are about half an inch long and as big
around as a piece of thread.
They make excellent live food for growing fry
and conditioning breeder adults of smaller species
such as Guppies, Tetras, Danios and Killifish and more
They are also greedily eaten by even bigger fish. All
fish benefit from some live food in their diet.
Grindals live and reproduce well at normal household
temperatures,
take up very little space and are easy to culture.

How To Culture Grindal Worms
Materials Needed
Culture Box - small plastic container with lid,
coconut fiber enough to fill the container to a depth of about one inch.
I use cat and dog food to feed my grindal worms
Spray mister bottle - To keep the culture moist
A Grindal Worm Starter Culture
Put up to an inch of potting soil into your culture box, give it a good squirting with your mister, wet it
to about the same moisture content as freshly turned dirt. Punch a few small holes in the lid for
ventilation. Add your starter culture.
Feed the worms dog food or cat food, increase this amount as the culture
grows, but try not to overfeed (leftover food will spoil and fungus) give it another squirt of water to
moisten the cat food or dog food. As you feed the worms, gradually spread the food out into a larger area of the
culture as it grows.
Im using coconut fiber. The coconut fiber is less acidic and is much
preferred by the worms. Also since the coconut fiber lasts longer without going bad
In addition you will need a 3”x4” size of mesh( what I use is cross stitch sheets and cut it to size(find this in the crafts and sewing part of Walmart or any craft store))
