FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLF MAN Curt Siodmak FAN BUILT & PAINTED MODEL

A unique opportunity to own a built and painted, fan created “Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man” model that was sent as a gift to Curt Siodmak, who wrote the original screenplay for the 1941 Universal horror classic “The Wolf Man” as well as the screenplay for the 1943 “Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man” starring Lon Chaney, Jr., Bela Lugosi, Iloona Massey and Patric Knowles. Curt displayed the model until he decided in the 1980’s it needed “a new home”; now, we’ve decided it again needs “a new home”. We will be happy to supply the winning bidder a letter of provenance regarding the model’s history. The base is from a 1966 Aurora model kit (see photo of the underside) but you monster kit experts will have to identify where the other elements (such as the control panel and the two figures themselves) originated. The model stands approximately 7 ½” tall x 6 ½” wide x 5” deep and is in excellent condition.
