Rosenthal Studio Line "Split" Pattern, 18 Wine Crystal Glasses Stemware

Description

This lot of 18 7" wine glasses is in the "Split" pattern, designed by Pavel Hlava and part of the Rosenthal Studio Line from 1971 to 1988. Hlava was known as one of the masters of Czech glass and a pioneer of contemporary art glass. The cupola is clear, blown glass that is 24% lead crystal, and it sits on a beautiful stem that resembles an icicle. Each glass is 7" tall and 2 3/4" in diameter. All are in remarkable, near-perfect condition -- no chips or significant scratches noted.
I am not a collector or a dealer. These were purchased by a family member, and I inherited them in the 80s. They have been stored since then -- and have never been used since 1984! I'm open to offers, but only willing to sell as a complete set. I also have two other listings of the Rosenthal Studio Line "Split" pattern -- nine champagne/sherbet glasses, and 16 water glasses.
