Vintage Power Hacksaw Hack Saw Millers Falls

This is a vintage Power Hacksaw Hack Saw made by The Henry G. Thompson & Son Company New Haven, Conn. They were in business since 1892 making power metal working machinery. The base which is cast iron is embossed with The Millers Falls co. from Mass. I am familiar with them, they made all kinds of power tools. I bought this many years ago and never even used it, I am a woodworker don't do much with metal. It does run and seems to operate properly, automatic shut off when blade is done cutting. I

think the end piece holding one side of the blade is original? May need looked at? All the gear teeth look good. Pretty heavy duty tool. Painted this would look beautiful, don't make stuff like this anymore. Local Pickup Only in New Hampshire
